“Winter” by Marissa Meyer Cover Release!!!!!!

I just read the third book in the Lunar Chronicles series and I loved it!! 😀 I have really enjoyed this series so far and am so, so sad that I have to wait until NOVEMBER to get the fourth and final installment!!!! 😥 Well, I also have to pick up “Fairest” – which is the novella featuring the main villain, Queen Levana. Plus, look at how beautiful these covers are!! Swoon!!! 🙂

These are fantasy/science fiction fairy tale retellings, and I am sure that you can gather the fairy tales that they are retelling. Now, I love me a good fairy tale retelling! 😉 These were so refreshing to read – so creative and so dynamic! The world building done by Marissa Meyer is so fantastic – she has woven an intricate and detailed story with so much vibrancy that is so easy to visualize as you’re reading the story. The characters have so much depth, vibrancy, and strength. Plus, the main protagonists are all women! Spunky and a little misfit-y, but altogether empowered, strong, and so multi-dimensional. So much good!!!

Now – we are awaiting the fourth and final installment in this incredibly exciting and action packed series!! “Winter” comes out November 2015!! Le sigh…so many more months to wait!!! 😥 Up until this point, there hasn’t been anything about the book – no cover release, no synopsis reveal, no nothing. BUT…I decided to read Marissa Meyer’s blog (http://www.marissameyer.com/blog/), and guess what I found?!?!?!? O_O

A COVER RELEASE FOR WINTER!!!!!!! Look at this beautiful cover!!!! I can’t even!!!! There’s even a SNEAK PEEK!!! I just can’t handle all the greatness that is this cover and the sneak peek!!!! Winter is the stepdaughter of the evil Queen Levana and from the looks of this cover, it looks like this is going to be a fairy tale retelling of Snow White. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful, and I love how consistent the cover is with the rest of the series. One can also assume the hand in the cover belongs to Winter and Meyer even commented on that in this article on the cover release: “…also giving the hand a sense of strength and defiance, which is perfect for a book that focuses largely on rebellion and revolution.” I am so excited!!!!!! Bring on the rebellion!! I am going to leave the link here if any of you are interested in reading more about Winter and read the most awesome sneak peek that’s included!!!!
